It was my first tree in years. This always was my favorite thing to do with friends having a tree trimming party making egg nog and putting fresh roses on the tree. This year I did it only with Mom. We trimmed the live tree that my Stepfather was so nice to get for me, with cream and pedal pink roses ,baby pink ornaments and accented it with Tiffany blue trimmings. Some of the Tiffany blue trimmings were gifts from some guests at our wedding which gave it that extra sentimental touch. I really enjoyed putting our first Christmas tree up in our new living space that took us 2 years to complete. I felt more in the spirit of celebrating this year , and the tree made our home sparkle that much more.
Even the kitties agree..
